MAP Orphan Care Program
Orphaned and neglected children are some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. According to UNICEF, the world’s orphan population is approximately 153 million. We’re committed to transforming the lives of these often-traumatized children by nurturing them with the love and individual attention they deserve. MAP’s Orphan Care Program builds self-confident, joyous, productive, and empowered adults.
We support and operate children’s homes with comprehensive programs that foster personal responsibility and promote community values. We renovate orphanages that lack essential funding and resources to adequately provide for the children in their care. We provide ongoing support to orphans living in 30+ homes. Additionally, we operate a private orphanage in Iran (Khaneh Golha) and a foster care program in Cambodia.
