This year, our Giving Tuesday fundraiser focuses on the dire need for emergency equipment for a hospital in Tehran, Iran.
The hospital we aim to support through this fundraiser is:
Shohadaye Gomnam Specialty & Subspecialty Hospital, Tehran City
Demographics:
-Number of beds in hospital: 77
-Number of personnel: 225
-Hospital capacity to admit inpatients: 100
The Equipment Needed
Shohadaye Gomnam Specialty & Subspecialty Hospital opened in 2017. It has professional physicians that are supervised by Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. As it is located in district 15 of Tehran (south of Tehran), many patients from Southern Tehran go there to get treated; the majority of the patients are impoverished. The hospital requires an Operating Room Warming System, a Vital Signs Monitor and a Pneumatic Ventilator to be used in the operating room, emergency department, and GICU. They currently do not have this equipment and need our help to get the necessary materials they need for the patients they are treating.
We would really appreciate your support in sharing our fundraiser. The more people we reach, the larger the impact we can make!
