Help Bring Relief to Iran Flood Victims
Earlier this week, heavy rainfalls caused flooding in 87 cities, 31 Iranian provinces, destroying agriculture, infrastructure, villages, and communication systems, leaving tens of thousands of people in dire need of immediate relief and nearly a dozen dead.
The hardest-hit areas are in the provinces of Hormozgan, Sistan & Baluchestan, Fars, and Kerman. Rain has not subsided. Our disaster relief team on the ground has assessed the situation and has mobilized to provide basic provisions to the areas most severely impacted.
