Poverty Awareness Month Donation Campaign: Help Feed a Child Every Month

January is Poverty Awareness Month — Did You Know?

Nearly 1 in 5 children—that’s 17.5% of kids in the U.S.—live below the poverty line. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, that means 12.8 million American children face daily struggles with food insecurity.

This January, during Poverty Awareness Month, we’re asking you to take action. With your support, we can provide food and hygiene support for children in need right here at home.

Why Monthly Giving Matters

When you join our poverty awareness month donation campaign as a monthly donor, you’re doing more than giving—you’re becoming part of a reliable support system for children who need it most.

Just one recurring gift can:

  • Provide nutritious meals

  • Supply essential hygiene items

  • Offer hope and consistency in uncertain times

We are working to expand our reach—and this month, our goal is to welcome 25 new monthly donors to help us sustain and grow this work.

How to Help Children Living in Poverty in the U.S.
