Building and Renovating Orphanages for Children in Need

Orphaned and neglected children are among the most vulnerable populations in the world. According to UNICEF, over 150 million children worldwide are orphans, with 1.5 million living in orphanages in Iran. Many of these orphanages struggle due to limited funding and resources, making it difficult to provide proper care for the children.

Improving Orphan Care in Iran

Moms Against Poverty, in partnership with Nikgaman Jamshid Charity, works to identify underfunded orphanages in Iran that need urgent assistance. Through our Orphanage Construction, Renovation & Support Program, we:

  • Renovate and rebuild orphanages to create a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Improve living conditions so children can grow up with dignity and hope.
  • Provide essential resources, including food, education, and healthcare.

By ensuring that orphanages receive proper funding and support, we help children in need lead happy and dignified lives.
