This Norooz, Moms Against Poverty launched a heartfelt Norooz food basket donation campaign to bring joy and nourishment to families facing poverty across Iran. Norooz, marking the Spring Equinox and the Persian New Year, is a time of renewal, reflection, and generosity.

With your help, the campaign was a success—thank you for your incredible support!

A Gift That Meets Daily Needs

Your donations helped deliver food essentials to children and families in the provinces of Bushehr, Sistan & Baluchestan, and Khuzestan—some of the most underserved regions in Iran. This is a meaningful example of support for Iranian families in need during a culturally significant time.

Each $30 basket included:

• 10-kg rice bag

• Dry pasta

• Canned tuna

• Cooking oil

• Tea

• Sweets

• Other daily essentials

Together, we funded and distributed 2,000 baskets, each bringing hope, dignity, and nourishment to families in time for Norooz.
