Moms Against Poverty was featured on ABC Channel 7 News on December 5th, highlighting its Nutrition Outreach Program, Hygiene Program, and Holiday Helping Hand Program in the Bay Area.

This work is made possible through the generosity of our donors and volunteers, ensuring that low-income children have access to proper nutrition and essential hygiene products.

Providing Hygiene Support for Low-Income Families

Children from low-income families often face barriers to basic hygiene, which can lead to health issues, embarrassment, and social isolation. To combat this, Moms Against Poverty provides:

  • Hygiene kits for homeless children containing soap, shampoo, deodorant, and dental care products.
  • Laundry facilities in schools so students can wash their clothes discreetly.
  • Nutritional support and hygiene education to improve overall well-being.
