On January 9, heavy rainfall triggered devastating flash floods in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Iran. Entire towns and villages were submerged, and the damage was widespread. Thousands of homes, schools, health centers, roads, and businesses were destroyed.
Moms Against Poverty’s local team quickly mobilized to deliver flood relief in Iran, assessing needs and providing immediate support. The crisis continues to affect hundreds of thousands of children and families, many of whom have been displaced with no access to shelter, food, or basic necessities.
Thanks to your generosity, our team on the ground has already distributed essentials, including food, water, clothing, and coats, to those hit hardest. But the destruction scale means much more work must be done.
Emergency aid for displaced families is critical right now. Winter temperatures and flood-damaged infrastructure make living conditions unbearable for many who have lost everything.
Children are among the most vulnerable in any natural disaster. Without safe shelter, clean clothing, or food, they face severe risks to their health and well-being. Moms Against Poverty prioritizes disaster relief for children, ensuring the youngest victims of this tragedy are protected and supported.
Our relief teams are continuing their outreach in remote and affected areas, delivering warmth and hope to those who need it most.
The need remains urgent. Donating today is the most impactful step if you’re wondering how to help flood victims in Sistan-Baluchestan. Every contribution allows us to expand our reach and provide continued support to families in crisis.
Even a small donation helps us supply essentials and rebuild lives in communities that have been completely devastated.
Moms Against Poverty is one of the few organizations with trusted partners and staff on the ground delivering real-time relief. Your compassion and quick action make our nonprofit flood relief efforts in Iran possible.
Please continue to support this mission and help us reach even more children and families with emergency care and dignity.
