Orphaned and neglected children are some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. UNICEF estimates that there are over 150 million orphans worldwide. 1.5 million orphans live in orphanages in Iran. Many goodhearted and loving orphan homes face lack of funding and resources to properly provide for the children in their care.

MAP and Nikgaman Jamshid (MAP’s sister NGO in Iran) identify, well-intentioned and loving orphanages facing lack of funding and resources to properly provide for the children in their care. We then renovate or re-build these orphanages to improve the living condition for the children so that they can lead, happy and dignified lives.
