Help Moms Against Poverty Support Ukraine Refugees in Poland
The devastation caused by the Russian attack on Ukraine cannot be ignored. As an organization dedicated to empowering impoverished children wherever they are suffering, we will not be silent in these times. In response, we will be raising funds to support a trusted immigrant and refugee support organization in Poland, Ocalenie Foundation.
Ocalenie Foundation has been responding to the needs of immigrants and refugees since 2004. One of our board members has personally worked with this foundation for years and has reached out to them directly to ensure our donation dollars will go to those most in need.
The Ocalenie Foundation has been working on-site at the Polish borders since the beginning of the crisis because they believe that a safe border is a border where no one dies. They are providing food, basic provisions, medication, and constant transportation across the border.
Your donation of $50 can provide a family with a package of food, warm clothes, shoes, and a blanket.
*Moms Against Poverty redirects unused restricted funds after a year to its charitable purposes and advancement of its mission. MAP maintains two OFAC licenses from the U.S. Department of Treasury for humanitarian purposes – to support our ongoing relief efforts in Iran. This license allows us to make a direct impact on the Iranian people, especially now for those who are in dire.
