Norooz Charity Event in Scottsdale: A Sold Our Celebration of Love and Giving

On Saturday, February 23, 2019, Moms Against Poverty hosted a vibrant Norooz charity event in Scottsdale, welcoming over 200 guests to celebrate love, community, and the Persian New Year.

Held at Windgate Ranch Clubhouse in Scottsdale, Arizona, the event featured a full day of good food, family-friendly entertainment, and the heartwarming spirit of giving. Guests enjoyed delicious cuisine, joyful music, and cultural festivities marking the vernal equinox and Norooz.

A Celebration of Love & Renewal

This Persian New Year celebration in Arizona was designed not only to mark the arrival of spring but also to reflect Moms Against Poverty ’s commitment to love, compassion, and service. In true Norooz spirit, the community came together to support underprivileged children—through fundraising, awareness, and cultural connection.

From colorful décor to Moms Against Poverty ’s signature heart logo and symbolic goldfish of Norooz, every detail made the event a meaningful success.

Sold Out With Heartfelt Thanks

Thanks to overwhelming community support, this sold out Norooz celebration in Scottsdale 2019 raised critical funds to support MAP’s humanitarian efforts for children in need. Proceeds benefited education, nutrition, and orphan care programs in Iran and the United States.
