Rebuilding Hope After Tragedy in Western Iran

Thanks to your incredible generosity, our on-the-ground team has made substantial progress in our Kermanshah earthquake relief efforts. In response to the devastating November 2018 earthquake, we have successfully distributed:

  • 1,000 winter coats

  • Hundreds of food baskets

These were provided to children and families affected by the disaster, many of whom are still recovering from the physical and emotional toll.

Infrastructure and Emergency Support

As part of our broader earthquake recovery in Iran, Moms Against Poverty has also completed significant reconstruction work in the region following the 2017 quake. Our accomplishments include:

  • Construction of 2 health clinics

  • Construction of 5 kindergartens/preschools

  • Distribution of 50+ tons of emergency supplies (including clean water, tents, and blankets)

We also deployed:

  • 4 mobile (connex) units converted into mobile health clinics

  • 150 heater-air conditioner units for families still living in tents

These initiatives reflect our commitment to providing sustainable, long-term support beyond the initial crisis.
