Latest Iran Earthquake Update – November 17, 2017

Moms Against Poverty, in partnership with Nikgaman Jamshid, is actively providing Iran earthquake relief efforts to help families affected by the devastating earthquake in Western Iran.

This Saturday, under the supervision of Dr. Ashkan Taghipour, two large relief trucks will depart from Tehran, carrying essential emergency supplies for survivors.

Essential Aid Being Delivered

The earthquake relief efforts include distributing:

  • Blankets, winter jackets, and warm undergarments to combat freezing temperatures.
  • Canned food, baby formula, biscuits, and pre-cooked rice to ensure proper nutrition.
  • Hygiene products, including soap, detergents, and feminine hygiene supplies.
  • Medical supplies such as rubbing alcohol and disinfectants to prevent illness.

All supplies have been purchased, packed, and pre-sorted into distribution bags for families, women, and children as part of the first phase of our emergency disaster response.
