Good hygiene is essential for preventing disease and maintaining self-confidence, yet many homeless and impoverished children in the U.S. lack access to basic hygiene essentials.

Children who attend school wearing dirty or odorous clothes often face humiliation, low self-esteem, and social isolation. Many of these students skip school to avoid embarrassment, leading to academic failure and perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

To combat this issue, Moms Against Poverty is partnering with schools to ensure children have access to:

• Hygiene kits for homeless children, including soap, shampoo, deodorant, and dental care items.
• Washer and dryer installations in schools, allowing students to wash their clothes discreetly.
• Educational support and resources to help children maintain proper hygiene.
