Good hygiene is essential for preventing disease and maintaining self-confidence, yet many homeless and impoverished children in the U.S. lack access to basic hygiene essentials.
Children who attend school wearing dirty or odorous clothes often face humiliation, low self-esteem, and social isolation. Many of these students skip school to avoid embarrassment, leading to academic failure and perpetuating the cycle of poverty.
