2012 Mid-Year Report: Expanding Child Welfare Programs Worldwide

XFacebookLinkedIn

Dear Friends,

2012 has been a year of growth and impact for Moms Against Poverty’s child welfare programs worldwide. From expanding our initiatives in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Iran, Sierra Leone, and the U.S. to adopting an orphanage in Orissa, India, we continue to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

As our reach grows, so does our commitment. These children rely on us, and we remain dedicated to supporting orphaned children through programs that empower them. Our community-based orphan support programs focus on everything from opening and renovating orphanages to providing healthcare and education for children in need.

Explore some of our newest programs, including:

  • Establishing a computer learning center and renovating a boys’ orphanage in Iran (read more)
  • Launching a mental health initiative in the U.S.
  • Developing a family outreach program in Cambodia (read more)

Moms Against Poverty thrives because of a strong volunteer-driven community—people like you who believe in breaking the cycle of poverty. Since 2008, we have nearly doubled our programs each year while keeping operating expenses below 5%.

We need your help to continue this progress. Learn how you can support the children, get involved, or donate today.

With your generosity, we’ve accomplished so much. Keep reading for details on the programs you’ve helped make possible.

Together, we can create brighter futures for children in need.

On behalf of the children, we thank you,
